Muthoot M George Foundation

Stemming from the value of “serving others”, the Muthoot M George Foundation was established in the memory of our Founder Chairman, Late Shri. M. George Muthoot. This charity wing of the colossal conglomerate nurtures some profound values that make it equally respected and recognized.

Welfare programs organized by the foundation are aimed at providing assistance to deserving individuals. We believe that community support is a social responsibility of business, as they are the force that drives our growth in more ways than one can imagine. The Muthoot Group plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of communities that the Muthoot M. George Foundation serves.

Haathi Mera Saathi

Haathi Mera Saathi is The Muthoot Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. Under the umbrella of ‘Haathi Mera Saathi’, the Group has launched a number of CSR initiatives aimed at uplifting the lives of millions of underprivileged individuals across the country, while also working towards creating a sustainable environment.

The campaign title is derived from The Muthoot Group’s logo. It’s a reflection of the Group’s efforts in empowering the lesser privileged sections of the society since its inception. The initiative is aimed towards education, healthcare, environment, and social issues.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The Muthoot M. George Foundation helps a number of organizations as well as individuals in need of financial as well as medical assistance. Innumerable organizations approach us to request medical or financial assistance. The Community Support Cell of the Group helps us select and narrow down a number of beneficiaries. The selection is done by consensus. The committee, then, makes genuine efforts in considerably improving the condition of those in need.

Corporate Social Responsibility extends beyond the Foundation at The Muthoot Group. Every branch of The Muthoot Group is actively involved in Community Development and Social Welfare in one form or the other. Every month, the Welfare Committee meets, and decisions are taken on a case-to-case basis. No deserving cases are declined or kept in abeyance.
