Donning the mantle of Managing Director of Muthoot Healthcare, Dr. Georgie Kurien Muthoot has played a pivotal role in placing its twin healthcare providers on the medical services map of Central Travancore. Also orchestrating the development of 18 diagnostic centers and educational institutions in Management, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences, his medical prowess and international expertise have enigmatically driven the institutions under his leadership to higher achievement. 

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and membership from the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), UK, he pursued a rewarding 15-year career in General Medicine and General Practice in the National Health Services, UK. He is the son of Dr. George Kurien, the founder Medical Director of MGM Muthoot Medical Centre, Kozhencherry.

George M George is the 4th generation of Entrepreneurs at The Muthoot Group, a multifaceted conglomerate having interests in diversified fields such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, Agriculture, Housing, Media and Education, to name a few.

Prior to the Group’s formal inception in 1887, the family has been involved in philanthropic and commercial activities for nearly 800 years, spanning 19 generations, in the central Travancore region of Kerala, India.

He completed his bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Prestigious Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration in Manipal and was awarded the Distinguished Alumni award in 2015 by his Alma mater and also the ITC chairman’s award for his contribution to the field of sustainable tourism. He went on to pursue his Master’s in International Hospitality management at The Essec-Cornell University in Paris, France.

He founded and started a unique brand of Hospitality called Xandari, which engages in sustainable tourism activities in India and Costa Rica. 

He also launched Chennai’s first English radio station and India’s first Talk radio format in 2007.

During his stint at Muthoot Finance as the Deputy Managing Director, he has invested his time in creating and nurturing new products and services using sustainability as a cornerstone. He also heads the CSR activities of the group, engaging himself in initiatives that involve grass root level intervention in Healthcare, Education and Environment across India

He is also on the St. George Education Society board as the Chairman and looks into the strategic growth initiatives for St. George’s School and The Paul George Global School in New Delhi.

A cornerstone of the growth and development of the Company across India and abroad is Alexander George Muthoot, Joint Managing Director, The Muthoot Group. 

He heads the marketing, operations and international expansion of the Group. Under his dynamic leadership and keen vision, the Group has enhanced its brand visibility through innovative marketing strategies, expanded its branch network, and implemented various IT initiatives that have benefited both customers and employees. An MBA graduate from Thunderbird University, Arizona (USA) and an advanced diploma holder in business administration from Florida International University (USA), He is the youngest son of Late Shri M. G. George Muthoot, Former Chairman, The Muthoot Group.

A management graduate from Cass Business School (London), George Muthoot Jacob is the Deputy Managing Director at The Muthoot Group and manages - Legal, Corporate Affairs & Marketing of the Company. 

He also holds an LLM in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom. He completed his bachelor’s degree in law from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. He renders his expertise in the field of legal, compliance, and corporate governance, internal audit, risk management, marketing and sales of the Company. He is the eldest son of Shri George Jacob Muthoot, Chairman, The Muthoot Group.

George M. Alexander has done his Master’s in Business Administration from University of North Carolina’s Kenan & Flagler Business School and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from University of Kerala College of Engineering. 

He is the Deputy Managing Director of The Muthoot Group and takes care of operations in the state of Karnataka and has the additional responsibility of monitoring the global operations of The Muthoot Group in the US. Prior to joining his family business, George had worked for ING and Kotak Mahindra Bank in India. He is the eldest son of Shri George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director, The Muthoot Group.

Eapen is an Executive Director in Muthoot Finance and oversees the IT, Analytics and Strategic Initiatives of Muthoot Finance and its subsidiaries. He is also a Director for Muthoot Finance’s Affordable Home Loans subsidiary – Muthoot Homefin and is also a Director for Muthoot Finance’s Vehicle Loans subsidiary – Muthoot Money. 

Additionally, he is also a Director for CRIF High Mark Credit Information Services Private Limited, a Credit Information Bureau. Eapen also serves as a member on the India & Middle Eastern advisory board of Fuqua School of Business – Duke University. Eapen Holds an MBA from Duke University, an MSC. In International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BA Economics (Honours) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai
