Commissioned in 2006, The Muthoot Group's venture into power generation of tapping non-conventional sources of energy has seen the installation of three 1.25 MW capacity Suzlon Wind Electric Generators at Devarkulam in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. About 8 million units are generated annually and pumped into the Southern Grid, thus helping preserve the natural environment for future generations.
